In a dynamic and fast paced operational environment, the Sr. Cyber Threat Analyst is responsible for cyber threat (intelligence) planning and direction, collection, processing and exploitation (analysis), production, and dissemination as detailed in Marine Corps Doctrinal Publication 2 (Intelligence) and Marine Corps War fighting Publication 2-1 (Intelligence Operations).
•Maintain the body of documentation that describes S2 tactics, techniques and procedures (Standard Operating Procedures) according to the branch standards.
•Administer all aspects of the S2 web presence, to include development and refinement of the current SharePoint instances and any future requirements according to the branch standards
•Perform system administration of specialized intelligence systems to include installation, configuration, maintenance, backup and restoration.
•Maintain knowledge of applicable intelligence and CND policies, regulations, and compliance documents specifically related to network protection policies of the Marine Corps, Department of Navy (DoN) and DoD.
•Provide knowledge of enemy capabilities, intentions, and actions in order to support the decision making process to defend the Marine Corps Enterprise Network to external commands/agencies (US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), Marine Forces Cyber (MARFORCYBER), Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) C4, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), Marine Corps units and internal USMC sections (HQ, S3, S5)).
•Conduct cyber intelligence as a part of the Marine Corps intelligence cycle to include planning and direction, collection, process and exploitation (analysis), production, dissemination (written and verbal), and utilization.
•Provide cyber intelligence that provides knowledge of enemy current capabilities and conditions, enemy intentions and future conditions, and implications to the Marine Corps missions.
•Coordinate and track requirements levied upon the S2 from external commands/agencies (USCYBERCOM, MARFORCYBER, Headquarters HQMC, MCIA, Marine Corps units, etc. and internal USMC sections (Headquarters, S3, S5) to ensure actions are completed as required.
•Bachelor's degree and 10 years of cyber intelligence or signals intelligence or all-source intelligence or computer network defense experience
•8570 IASAE II (CISSP) certification
•Must have an Active Top Secret Security Clearance to start employment
•Must be able to pass a CGI background check to start employment
•Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required
