BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security Assessment
- Security vulnerability analysis / reverse engineering in consumer-electronics devices or server-based services
- Software tamper resistance (developing countermeasures against reverse engineering)
- Making automated security testing tools
- Giving security guidelines to other engineers
Anti-Malware
- Making application analysis (such as static / dynamic ones)
- Developing malware response systems
- Developing anti-malware engines
Security Solution
- Developing security solutions (such as the obfuscator, monitoring module, and some others)
- Cloud-service security solutions
- Firewall, VPN, and intrusion detection
Desired Skills and Experience & Academic Background
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics, Applied Mathematics, Cryptography, or Programming
Professional Experience
2+ years of experience in security area and hacking or reverse engineering
Mandatory Skills
- Experience with 2+ programming languages including C / C++
- Understanding cryptographic algorithms (such as AES, RSA, and ECC)
Additional Skills
- Hacking or reverse engineering
- Software tamper resistance, cryptographic protocols
- Familiarity with Linux- / Unix-style environments as well as Windows
- Inspecting well-known platforms (optional)
